The General Inventory of Symptoms, Behaviours, and Opinions

(GIBSO)

GIBSO is a newly created measure tapping into positive response bias (e.g., underreporting) across different domains (health, behaviour, and attitude). It contains 48 items in its full form, but it can also be used as a 37-item version. It includes the attention and understanding checks, making sure that the examined protocols are valid.

Currently, GIBSO is available in English, Dutch, German, French, and Italian. In preparation are the Serbo-Croatian and Spanish versions.

In case you wish to receive the measure and use it in your practice, or include it in your research, feel free to contact me.
